Getting There

Spain is the second most visited country in the world; thanks to all the routes that most of the airlines open during the summer season, most of the airports have additional low-cost routes that connect Spain directly with every other European country.

The northern region of Spain is efficiently served by a network of small to medium-sized national and international airports (see map below) with numerous routes connecting to various destinations across Europe. These airports, including Bilbao, are known for their accessibility and minimal waiting times, ensuring a smooth transition from arrival to boarding a bus to Logrono in a trip that is usually within the two hours.

For most of the players, specifically the ones flying from other continents, we strongly suggest landing in Madrid (MAD), which boasts direct connections to major airports worldwide and nearly every well-connected European airport. The 3.5 hours drive to Logroño is complemented by the convenient location of the bus stop just outside the airport terminals.

Tournament Airport Shuttle

A major transportation company can serve airports of Madrid and Bilbao to transport teams and players that require it, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free journey directly from the airport to their chosen accommodation. All services will be chargeable to the user.

We recommend using Madrid or Bilbao airports as the preferred entry points.

We can provide tailored travel quotations for teams flying into Vitoria, Zaragoza, or Santander, which are all viable options for reaching the event. While Barcelona is an available option, it involves a longer drive to the tournament location, so we generally do not recommend it as a good landing spot.

For teams traveling from farther locations, Madrid Barajas Airport is strongly suggested due to its better connectivity and larger range of international flights.

If you will need access to our transportation service, please email us at services@wu24.sport.

The only way to access the shuttle service is to fill these forms:

BUS TO LOGROÑO

BUS TO GO BACK HOME

If for any reasons we’ll not be able to provide the service directly, we will try to help you to get to Logroño by providing you with information about the best possible viable solution.

Due to the very high season, the latest this service can be requested is April 20th 2025; after this date we will not guarantee the availability of the service for the players or the teams.

For the ones that will decide to get to the championships by their own means, Logroño is just a 90 minutes drive from the France border in Biarritz.
